What are you thinking of right now? It’s truly a deceiving question, quite trite and all, however one that people ask to continue a conversation that they may have just as well left alone. I would insert here that studies show, as I’m sure some study somewhere does, that a human brain can think of many (potentially thousands) unrelated topics at any given time of day and therefore would render the question pointless altogether since by the time you begin explaining what you’re actually thinking about…now is gone.
Bringing this question to light does raise some interesting emotions though. Playing the artist and asking such an esoteric question I think lends itself an answer: you’re thinking right now about the question itself.
